WANTED

Cyber pack-rats: Search your drives for AddWeb 1.x.

If you are the first person to send it to us, you will be our honored pack-rat in our next newsletter, and get a free edition or machine upgrade on your existing AddWeb 5.

Why in the world would these guys want version 1.0, you ask?

AddWeb 1.0 existed for a very brief period of time. Actually, only about 3 months back in 1997. AddWeb 2 was built on the AddWeb 1 source code, and backups from 1997 are long gone.

We decided one day that we wanted to do an ‘AddWeb Museum’, which would chronicle the 5 versions of AddWeb’s history. After searching our network, we failed to come up with a copy… or even a screenshot of version 1.0!
