Look
Ma! Michael wrote an article for the newsletter!
Hi everyone. For those seasoned veterans of
our newsletter, you probably know that when I
put something into the newsletter, it is quite
informal to say the least. For those of you that
like that, glad to see you again. For those of
you that have some new reason of the week against
it... well... get over it.
That having been said, nice to write you again!
So whaddaya think about the new format of the
newsletter? Pretty Dot.Com, eh? That old format
was getting pretty messy on us, and for what it
is worth, we got pretty sick of the whole red
and black look. After all, we have had it for
more than four years now. Anyhow, the website
got a facelift, so why not the newsletter.
You have to admit, after that Halloween newsletter,
things were getting pretty out of hand. For those
of you that got the tail end of the newsletter
run, please accept my personal apologies for the
HTML formatting. A switch got thrown in the wrong
place at the wrong time... or perhaps we just
don't have a clue.
I suppose we can poke fun of ourselves since
we've been around so long (and we're still here).
Which brings me to a new point... Guess what!
In 2003 we get a new digit! We turn 10! Can you
believe it? We opened our doors in 1993. So what
does that make us in Internet years? 200? 300?
So much is happening... and so fast,
too!
Let's see... As if you haven't noticed, we finally
got Servicetraq released. Can you guess what it
has been like for the past year, looking at that
beautiful 'Best of Comdex' lucite award on my
desk... with no product to sell for it? All I
can say is: 'bout time! If you haven't played
with it yet, now would be a great time. It isn't
hype... ServiceTraq is really amazing stuff. Consider
this: If you want to go buy software that does
half of what servicetraq does, get ready to cut
a check for a few hundred thousand dollars. No
kidding... check it out for yourself.
AddWeb 6.0 is about to hit the streets. We are
shooting for a 1-2-3-4-5-6
release. That is, January 2, 2003 at
4:56 PM (Pacific Time). Why, you ask? Because
we can... and we live for meaningless tidbits
like that. See, the dot.com culture isn't completely
dead, is it?
Let's see... what else is new (as if I didn't
already know)... Hmmm... can I tell you about
this yet? I don't think so.... No, not
quite yet. Still, we have another new program
in development, and if the sun continues to shine
and the birds sing, and the planets all line up,
we will have it in beta testing in December. Thank
god we're located in Southern California... it
might just happen! Anyhow, the project is a super
megagalactic top-secret server application, so
it wouldn't be wise to tell you about it just
yet. Now don't call and try to get it out of Denise,
Courtney or Scott... they can't tell you. No,
Jon won't tell you either, so forget about it
for now.
OK, I think I have said too much. Till the next
time I get some time to write. Be well, and buy
more of our software so I can pay for my kid's
college, ok? ;-)

Quote of the Moment:
"Jet boy jet girl - I'm gonna take you 'round
the world"
So what does that mean? Absolutely nothing! It
just happens that as I am finishing this article,
I am listening to "Jet Boy Jet Girl"
by The Damned.
